The Great Trans Udzungwa Trek

Hike the wildest, and most remote, long distance trek in East Africa.

The Great Trans Udzungwa Trek crosses the entire national park, from west to east, through rainforest and miombo woodland. No people live in Udzungwa National Park, so you're far from any other people.

There are 3 trails to choose from.

1. Udekwa to Kilombero, via Kilombero Forest Reserve and Luhomero Peak
2. Mbatwa to Kilombero, via the lowland route
3. Mbatwa to Kilombero, via Luhomero Peak

All routes have an add-on option to include Mwanihana Peak.
